Meet Chef

Lama

With over 25 years of experience cooking Nepalese and Indian food, Chef Lama’s approach is simple and straightforward - make the comfort food that people crave. Nothing fancy or too refined; just fun and delicious food that everyone can enjoy. Hailing from a remote mountain village in Nepal, Chef Lama aims to bring the spirit of his native Nepalese cuisine to his own community in Michigan.

Why the yeti?

Yeti Bhai* is a fun-loving and pretty chill dude when he’s not being hunted by trekkers, he’s always up to grab a plate of momos and a beer with you on a Friday night. Nepal is known for its tradition, ancient cultures, and village life; but Yeti Bhai wants to shake things up and to show the world what ~Nepali Cool~ really means.

*Bhai is the Nepali way of referring to your younger brother (related or not)
